There are trailer hitch receivers for your 2009 Toyota Corolla, but the only size are Class I with a 1-1/4 inch receiver. There are no 2 inch hitches that exist for a Corolla because larger hitches are generally made for vehicles that can be used for towing.
So you do have options for a smaller receiver, and the two hitches that fit your 2009 Corolla are the following:
- Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24913
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit # C11265
Between these two hitches I strongly recommend the Draw-Tite because not only does it have better ground clearance (11-3/4" vs. 11-1/4") but it has much, much better bumper clearance (2-3/4" vs. 5-1/4"). This is especially important for accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers which are what a hitch for a Corolla is likely going to be used for.
