4-Pole Trailer Wiring Bracket
Question:
Hello, I somewhat recently bought a trailer hitch and trailer wiring from you guys and have been extremely satisfied. At this point, I would like to see if there is a way to mount the vehicle wiring by the hitch to make for an easy hook up without having to hang wires out of the trunk, risking the wires getting pinch. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

From the back hatch area where your trailer lighting wiring harness is, you will need to find a place where you can pass your wiring through to the under side of your vehicle. You may have to drill a hole if an opening with a rubber stopper is not available. Once routed under the car you can locate a place you like to mount the Tow Ready # 18144 Mounting Bracket. You should also consider if Tow Ready # 18140 would be useful when mounting your bracket.
It would also be a good idea to put a little Edlemann's # 11755 dielectric grease on both sides of your connector to keep moisture and corrosion out of the connector.
