Can 4-Way Connector Be Installed On 2019 Jeep Wrangler With Flat-Tow Splice In Diode Kit Installed
Question:
Im planning on flat towing a 2019 Jeep Unlimited. Ill be purchasing among other items a Roadmaster RM-15247 wiring kit for the Suppl. Braking System. Additionally, I expect to have a Tekonsha DJSK118416 4-conductor trailer wiring kit installed on the rear of the Jeep for towing a small cargo trailer whenever Im NOT flat towing the Jeep. Will there be a problem in wiring these two different systems together on my Jeep?

The Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 4-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15247 you are purchasing is a great choice for powering the lights of your 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited when it is being flat towed, and you can absolutely still install a 4-way connector on your Jeep for powering the lights of a small utility trailer when it is not being flat towed due to the # RM15247 being a splice in kit meaning both harness will attach in different ways.
With that being said the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118416 you were looking at will not work on your Jeep as it is designed for earlier model year Jeeps. For your 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited you will need the Tekonsha # 118786 instead.
