I would be happy to help you find the correct rated safety chains for your 15' car trailer, but you will need to confirm the GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) of your trailer to be sure the chain is rated properly.

For example the Curt Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables with S-Hooks - 42" Long - 7,500 lbs # C80176 are rated at 7500lbs, so if your trailers GVWR is less than 7500lbs this would be a great option.

If your trailer has a GVWR over 7500lbs I recommend taking a look at the Buyers Products 3/8" x 35" Class 4 Trailer Safety Chain w/ 1" Hook # 337B03835SC which has a 10000lb weight rating.

The chain being over rated definitely doesn't hurt when it comes to safety chains.

I included videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
