Quiet Hitch Anti-Rattle Device for a 2008 Chevy Trailblazer with Factory 2 Inch Trailer Hitch

Question:

I have a 2008 chevy Trailblazer with factory tow package. reciever is 2 5/8inch outside dimension and 2inch inside. Is the RM-062 the right size for my reciever.

Since the inside measurement of your trailer hitch is 2 inches, that is what you will need to go by. So the correct Quiet Hitch for you is # RM-061. I have included a link to a video review for you to view.

A 2 inch receiver is made with 1/4 walls and the powder coat adds a little bit to. The inside height of the 2 inch Quiet Hitch is 2-1/2 inches which is just perfect for the 2 inch hitches. Going larger and you may not be able to get it tight enough. Because of the way the unit goes on, you are essentially going from the bottom inside of the receiver to the top outside, like in the pictures or video.
