Trailer Hitch for Bike Rack for 1998 Ford Explorer
Question:
I have an 98 explorer and it has rear step bumper and has heavy duty bracket rite behind bumper with two holes do you make a hitch to bolt up to that or one for bumper all I want it for is bike rack no heavy hauling just need or a ball to receiver not receiver to ball or some thing to bolt up to bumper please thank you

For your 1998 Ford Explorer we have the Curt hitch part # 13540 as a fit that is compatible with the design of the rear of your vehicle that you mentioned and unlike other hitch options allows you to keep the full size spare underneath it as well.
This would work great with a bike rack like our Hollywood Racks Trail Rider # HR200Z.
