Recommended 5th Wheel Base Rails for 2020 Ram 3500 For Use with Curt 5th Wheel Hitch

Good evening, I’m trying to figure out what curt 5th wheel installation rail kit I need for a 2020 ram 3500 without any oem prep. Or is there another kit that will work better for this truck but it compatible with a curt 5th wheel hitch.

I have a solution for you, but Curt does not have any installation kits available yet for the 2020 Ram 3500. The good news is that because you don't have the OEM prep package, you'll just need a set of industry standard base rails to be compatible with your existing hitch.

I recommend using the Reese Quick-Install Custom Outboard Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP56010-53, which will give you industry standard base rails in your truck bed compatible with your Curt 5th wheel hitch. This is a custom designed kit so it's going to reduce the amount of drilling that you otherwise might have to do, and the outboard installation makes it even easier to install on the truck- so this is a great option in terms of convenience of installation compared to a standard install kit.
