The 5th Airborne Premium Fifth Wheel Air Ride Coupler, # RP61422, is the premium air ride pin box that would be equivalent to the Trailair pin box, # LC158778, for replacement of a Lippert 1621 pin box.
We have carried the Fifth Airborne air ride couplers and for some time and our customers are very pleased with them, sending excellent reviews and we have encountered very few problems with this system.
The Trailair pin boxes are newer to us but the information we have is that users are very happy with the performance and there are very few problems associated with these pin boxes.
Both the Fifth Airborne and Trailair pin boxes are going to provide improved ride and handling characteristics when towing your fifth-wheel trailer.
The 5th Airborne Air Ride King Pin w/ Sidewinder, # RP61422, that you referenced is designed to be used with short bed trucks where clearance with the truck cab is an issue, and includes the Fifth Airborne air ride system. If you need clearance for making 90 degree turns this would be the pin box to go with.
