Parts Needed To Tow a Trailer With a 2017 Toyota Sienna
Question:
Hi, I have a 2017 Toyota Sienna. Im planning on purchasing a tent trailer I figure its going to be cheaper to buy parts directly from you. I was hoping you could direct me to all the equipment I might need for 1. Trailer Hitch Receiver 2. Ball Mount 3. Pin and Clip 4. Trailer Hitch Ball 5. Wiring Harness Lastly, Im not the most handy person, so I wondered if you had recommendations for install. I know UHaul installs hitches, but I imagine they want to sell their own products. Would I take it to the dealer, a mechanic, or do you have other recommendations for installing your products if Im not quite confident in my abilities?

The trailer hitch that I recommend for a 2017 Toyota Sienna is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98853 which offers a custom bolt-on fit with hidden design. For the trailer wiring, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118648 which is plug-in-play and our most reliable option. In order to compete your setup you can use the etrailer Ball Mount Kit part # 989900.
Please note, if the trailer have brakes you'll also need a seven way and brake controller. I recommend the 4 to 7-Way and 4-Way Adapter part # ETBC7L and the Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller part # C51180.
