Recommended Skid Wheel For Boat Trailer with Cross Member 2" Wide and 4" Tall

Question:

I have a boat trailer where the rear most cross member is 2inch wide and 4inch tall. How can I work this with your U-bolts? Also it has 6 1/2inch clearance at the back so if I dont want it fragging all the time I have to be careful as to total height. Why dont you make a retractableinch skid wheel? :

You might be able to use longer U-bolts with the # UF48-979017 but I recommend instead using the Ultra-Fab Hitch Mounted Skid Wheels for RVs up to 30' Long - 4" Diameter - Qty 2 # UF48-979015 since the bolts have a usable length of 5" so they'll fit on the 4" tall crossmember. It's essentially the same part but just installs a bit different. The wheel is 4" diameter, so it should work fine with 6-1/2" clearance.
