Availability and Installation of Trailer Wiring Harness on 2007 Nissan Titan

I own a 2007 Nissan Titan LE, I ordered a light bar for my tailgate and Im looking for a kit to hook it up to. I do not want to splice into the factory wiring just to hook it up. What is your reccomendation and how many relays come with your kit? And does the 2007 take 3 relays?

It sounds like you are wanting to install a 4-Way connector to the rear of your 2007 Nissan Titan for your tailgate light bar to plug into.

If you do not have a factory 7-way on the rear of your 2007 Nissan Titan you can use the Hopkins 7-Way and 4-Way Vehicle End Trailer Connector, part # N40975, you have referenced. This connector comes with the three relays and the mounting bracket. It plugs into the vehicles wiring harness behind the bumper and gives you a 7-Way and a 4-way at the rear of your vehicle.

You will want to check the accessory fuse block, located under the hood on the passengers side of the vehicle, just forward of the battery for the location of the three relays that are needed for your towing harness to work on your 2007 Nissan Titan. You can determine where the relays go by checking the lid that covers the fuse block or looking in your owners manual. The two blue relays activate the turn signals and the large brown relay activates the 12 volt power.
