Availability Of Friction Sway Control For Trailers

Hi, I’m trying to find a trailer sway bar, the part that has a brake and connects to the hitch and the trailer to help mitigate sway. I cannot seem to find this regardless of what I search for. Can you help? Thanks!

It sounds like you are looking for the Curt Friction Sway Control for Weight Distribution Systems # 17200 which attaches to the ball mount on your 2015 Ram 1500, and also connects to the frame of the trailer to fight sway when it occurs. The Curt # 17200 will not work on trailers that have surge brakes.

You will also need to add the Reese Sway-Control Bracket for 2" Ball Mounts # RP26003 to your ball mount to give the Curt # 17200 a place to mount. This bracket will mount underneath your ball mount and is secured with the hitch ball.
