Recommended 7-Way to 4-Way Cord for Trailer

Wrong adaptor, got 7-5 pin, need 7-4 pin, please advise.

It looks like you purchased the # A57WB, and most standard 4-Pole flat connectors will fit this 5-Pole flat connector- so you may just be able to plug it in not using the end port. However, you could also just get a new cord with a 4 flat on it with the Hopkins Heavy-Duty Trailer Coiled Wire Adapter for 7-Way to 4-Wire Flat # HM47065.
