How to Determine Torflex Lift Kit for 2007 Keystone Cougar 281 EFS

Question:

2007 Keystone Cougar 281 EFS. Can you help determine if these lift kits will fit my 5th wheel? I looked all over the axels but I couldn’t find any useful markings.

If you can't find any markings that specify the number of your Dexter Torflex axle, the only way to determine the correct lift kit is by calling Keystone with your VIN so they can specify the axle you have. We wouldn't have a way to know specifics about axles on a particular RV, and I couldn't find anything - Keystone didn't even have an owner's manual online for a 2007 on their website.

Based on some unofficial specs I looked at, an educated guess would be you will need the kit for #11 Torflex axles with 4,100 lb to 6,000 lb capacities, the Torflex Lift Kit - Tandem Axle # K71-724-02.

The other option would be the kit for #12 Torflex axles with 5,500 lb to 7,000 lb capacities, the Torflex Lift Kit - Tandem Axle # K71-725-02.

I have added links below to instructions and video reviews for you to check out as well if you'd like.
