Can You Use A Hitch Mounted Bike Rack On 2020 Honda Insight?

We’re thinking about buying a new Honda Insight and wonder if a hitch can be installed on that model that can accommodate our Easy Fold Thule bike rack and two ebikes. Thank you.

I do have a solution for you, however, there is not a receiver hitch available for your 2020 Honda Insight.

We do offer the trunk mounted Saris Bones 2 Bike Rack # SA805BL for your vehicle. However, this bike rack is limited to 35lbs per bike (all trunk mounted racks have this 35lb capacity), and your ebike likely weighs more than that. You could remove the batteries from your bikes when transporting and this would lower the weight, possibly under 35lbs each depending on the weight of your bikes.

If your ebikes weigh less than 35lbs each with the battery removed, you could safely transport them with the Saris bike rack mentioned above.
