Recommended Bike Rack For 1953 Ford Mainline Sedan
Question:
Would like platform-style bike rack for my 1953 Ford Mainline sedan. Prefer style that clamps/mounts to bumper, but would also consider a Hidden Hitch with a receiver attached type platform bike rack. Please help? Thank you.

I may have another option for you, but there is not a platform-style bike rack that will mount to the bumper of your 1953 Ford Mainline.
Since there is not a custom fit trailer hitch receiver for your 1953 Ford Mainline, you would need to have a trailer hitch fabricated to fit your vehicle. Once the hitch is installed you can use a platform bike rack like the Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack Platform Style # S64650.
The option I recommend to keep you from having to add a trailer hitch receiver to your vehicle is the SeaSucker Talon Roof Bike Rack # 298-BT1004 if you are only wanting to transport 1 bike, or the SeaSucker Mini Bomber Roof 2 Bike Rack # 298-BM2006 for transporting 2 bikes.
These options will attach to your roof without adding a roof rack to keep you from having to change the look of your vehicle, and will give you an option that can also be used on any vehicles with a flat roof.
I included a video of the SeaSucker Racks for you to take a look at.
