Parts Needed to Install Brake Controller on 2015 Jeep Wrangler

Question:

I have a 2015 jeep wrangler with a factory installed receiver and 4 flat towing plug. I need to adapt to a 7 round plug, and a wiring harness for the rear, and a wiring adapter for a Tekonsha P3 brake controller. Can you help with the parts required?

I'd be happy to help with that. You'll need the controller itself, part # 90195 and the # ETBC7 brake controller install kit. The vehicle isn't prewired for a brake controller, so you will use the install kit and the pigtail that's included with the controller. If you already have the controller and need a pigtail, we offer one as part # 20127.

The # ETBC7 install kit includes everything needed for a successful and easy install, inlcuding all the necessary wire, circuit breakers and hardware, even the adapter to convert your existing 4-pin trailer connector to a 7-way.

I've linked to an install video showing a different controller being installed on an older Wrangler model. The procedure shown in the video would be the same for your 2015 Wrangler.
