Do you need adapter for Thule TracRac SR bed rail for 2019 GMC Sierra? The read pocket stake is not rectangular. If so, is this included with rail system? Thanks

There is an adapter for your 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 short bed in order to install the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack in the rear stake pocket, and this adapter does come as part of the rack system, so you do not need to purchase it separately.
The adapter is just a small part that you put into the rear stake pocket that you will thread the bolt in and really the only difference is that it is shaped to fit your GMC's stake pocket. So it is technically called an "adapter" but really it's the same part that used on all the other TracRac racks but shaped differently to fit.
The correct fit for your 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 short bed will depend on the specific bed length:
- 6-1/2 Foot Bed: Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH43002XT-781
- 5-3/4 Foot Bed: Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH43002XT-782
