Availability of Tire Wider Than 4.80-8 to Fit on 8 Inch Wheel

Expert Reply:
For an 8 inch wheel, you could go with a 5.70-8 tire size, which would be almost an inch wider. This tire fits on an 8 inch by 3-3/4 inch rim, but would be about 2 inches taller in diameter. If going with a taller and wider tire would not cause any clearance issues on the inside with the trailer or the fenders, this would be a good way to go
You can see our available 5.70-8 tires by clicking on the link I provided.
We have three tires available in that size, with a 1,075, a 910 and a 715 lb weight capacity.
