Disabling 2020 BMW X2 Backup Sensors
Question:
Hey guys. You installed a trailer hitch for my bmw x2, and I love seeing pictures of my car on your website. My question is that when I put car in reverse the parking detection system goes off every time as it thinks I am going to hit something. Is their a way through a wiring harness to override this or trick the system into thinking their is a trailer on? Thanks. You guys have been great.

I would talk to your local BMW dealership to see if they can do something about your sensor issue, but may be a little pricey. One possible solution would be to take a connector like this one # C35FR and plug it in. This could trick the sensors but isn't a better solution than contacting your dealership, although this is a more cost affective possibility.
