What is Best Trailer Hitch for 1992 Ford F-150 with Deep Drop Bumper

Can you recommend your best 2” receiver hitch to fit a 1992 Ford F-150 with an aftermarket 8.5” rear bumper? Also want to keep spare mounted under the truck if possible. Thank you!

For a 1992 Ford F-150 with a deep drop bumper like what you mentioned the best 2 inch hitch we have is the Curt # C15511 which has higher towing capacities than the truck and does allow you to keep the rear mounted spare under it.

You should note that any towing setup is only as strong as it's weakest component so what that means is this hitch would not limit you beyond what your truck's towing capacity is but you'd still need to stay under the truck's capacity.
