Installation of the Reese low-profile hitch # RP30054 is a custom installation that requires a qualified professional welder to install a 1/2 inch thick steel plate under the bed. The plate needs to be welded and bolted on. I have linked the instructions for you to view. This hitch is designed for flat bed trucks that set on cab and chassis frames.

If you have a regular bed then there are better options. If you have a pickup bed, because the Low Profile hitch sits rather low, you would most likely not have proper clearance between top of the bed sides and the bottom of the trailer loft.
