Four-Bike Rack For Fifth Wheel Hitch
Question:
I have a fifth wheel camper with a 2in. receiver rated for 300 lbs. of tongue wt. Looking for a bike rack to carry four bikes. Looking at some of the comments on the racks on your site it appears not recommended for fifth wheel. What would you recommend for my application. 2 electric bikes and two kids bikes.

Great question! Mounting bikes on the backs of travel trailers and fifth wheels is not as accessible as using a hitch rack on the back of a car or truck, because of the increased motion that occurs at the rear of a trailering rig. You need products that are designed specifically with this use in mind, especially when you're talking about electric bikes that have additional weight.
I'm recommending two products as a solution to your application, both by Let's Go Aero, the # LGA77FR rack and the # LGA94FR two bike add-on. You'll find these products combined are well made to fit your specific needs, while simultaneously working well with many different styles of bike frames.
I also recommend the # e98942 alignment collar for 2" hitch accessories. This is a useful utility that will simplify the installation process every time you mount the rack to your fifth wheel.
