Will Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shocks Work With Equa-Flex Equalizer On Trailer W/ Overslung Suspension
Question:
Hi, After towing our travel trailer on washboard roads this past weekend Im looking at the equalizer upgrades and aftermarket shocks you guys offer. Can RM-2450 shock kit be used with the LC279687 equalizer? Also does the RM-2450 shock kit require the axle to be overslung? Thank you, Russell

Expert Reply:
The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers for Tandem Axle Trailers # RM-2450 that fits 2 3/8" axles you were looking at will work with the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279687.
The Roadmaster Comfort Ride # RM-2450 will require your leaf spring to be installed on top of your axle to allow enough room for the shocks to be installed. If your trailer has leaf springs under the axle you can use the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00 which will move the leaf springs on top of the 2 3/8" axle.
I included links to all of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
