We can help you locate the parts you need; a complete flat towing setup consists of base plates, a tow bar, safety cables, tow bar wiring, supplemental braking, and in some cases a high/low adapter to keep the tow bar level during travel. I will also link some helpful articles to this answer that detail some additional flat towing information, including how to measure for the correct high/low adapter.

For base plates I recommend using the Roadmaster # RM-521877-1, which has removable arms to give you a nice, clean look when you're not towing it. For a tow bar the Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain # RM-522 is self aligning and non binding, which makes connecting up and disconnecting to the motorhome quick and easy. You will also need safety cables like the Roadmaster # RM-643, since the Falcon All-Terrain does not come with them integrated.

For wiring the taillights, Roadmaster Recommends the # RM-155 bulb and socket kit for use with your 2009 Mini Clubman. This is a self contained wiring kit, so it won't tap into your vehicle's lighting circuits which means your electrical system is protected from damage in the event of a short or overload.

For supplemental braking, I recommend the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR; this is a portable system that can be transferred between vehicles as needed, which is especially helpful if you may get a new vehicle at some point in the near future. This system is also compatible with all potential braking systems on your motorhome, so it's extremely flexible.

Judging by some of the installation videos of the base plates we've done, those will sit about 15.5 inches above ground. If this height is more than 3 inches higher or lower than the receiver height on the motorhome, you'll need a high/low adapter to bring the tow bar within a 3 inch range of level to the ground to avoid binding and allow the tow bar to function properly. I've linked our entire selection of high/low adapters to this answer, as well as the article I mentioned above that you can reference.

In addition to this article I've also linked some helpful review videos on the parts mentioned above, but these would provide you with a complete flat towing setup for your 2009 Mini Clubman.
