Replace a missing Thule key with this equivalent part.I picked up a used ebike which has a battery and the included lock was missing its key. Found etrailer.com and ordered my key a minute later. Without the key, I would not have been able to lock the battery in safely. It arrived within a week and of course, it works. Thx etrailer.com.
I had an older Karrite rooftop carrier and was unsure if could find a key for it. I emailed e trailer and got an answer the next day of the right type of key. I ordered it, and after a short delivery, the key fit perfectly. I am very pleased to find a key for such an old car top carrier. Thank you Bryce d. and etrailer

This is a low tech item (a key), but since I don't think Thule makes the same model bike rack anymore I was apprehensive that I would be unable to find a replacement key for the hitch mount. I was pleased that this key fits perfectly and now I can remove/remount the bike rack as necessary. BTW, I got my Thule bike rack from eTrailer and was very pleased.
I bought this hoping it would fit a Y002 branded lock cylinder on a Harbor Freight universal roof crossbar. It did not. No fault of the seller, I knew it was a gamble. There is obviously more than one brand of lock cylinder with the Y002 designation.
They did a great job communicating and letting us know when it shipped, and making it easy for us to track during shipping.
I had a SEARS SPORT 20-SV (roof top cargo carrier )with lock numbers 2818 right above where you insert the key. I just added the letter (N) before the. So I ordered N2818 and it worked perfectly!! Two day shipping was right on time.
Worked for my 1989 VW GTI's roof rack. Very nice that you can still order older keys for older Thule units.

Poor customer service requested a key replace a few weeks ago never received it shipped out another never provided a tracking number for the 2nd one. Customer answered the phone didn’t bother to provide it either but you taken my money with no problem but yet no key. Terrible service and people skills I hope in the fitugff
The key really isn’t the problem the lock is jammed ip and I called the factory and said they won’t sell me a new lock I have to buy a whole new cargo box that’s why I’m leaving a bad review

Thank you for trying to supply a replacement key for my roof rack. Sorry to say that neither key that was sent worked in the SportRack.
I spoke to Thule. They indicated there are NO replacement keys for my particular roof racks. Not these. And NOT the other ones the next Customer Service Rep said would work.
I was pleased that I was able to find the key that I needed. (I couldn’t find it on the Thule or Sportrack web sites.). Shipping was fast and the key was a perfect fit.
I appreciate etrailer keeping these in stock when they were difficult to find from Thule. Good, prompt response.

The movers had departed and we were packing the SUV with personal items and getting ready to attach the Thule to the roof rack to depart in 2 days. "Oh no!" The movers packed the box with all of the keys in it!

Unfortunately the lock loosened over a few weeks and fell out. This in no way reflects on etrailer.com. I needed to check the two locking nuts fairly often from bike vibration and failed to do so.
