Way to Lift a Tandem Axle Trailer
Question:
Hi, have a question related to lifting a travel trailer. My travel trailer is making contact with tires when we hit any type of bump in the road. It was suggested I get a bigger equalizer and lift the trailer. Is this all I would have to do to fix the contact with tires issue? Thanks

Going with a taller equalizer isn't the most efficient way to lift trailer suspension since it would only change the height of one side of the axle's leaf spring. We have kits like the part # RR23QX which fit tandem axle trailer setups and give you a safe 2 inch lift to the trailer suspension that will prevent the tire issue you mentioned.
