Could Short Bed 2021 Ford F-250 with OEM Rail Kit Tow 5th Wheel Trailer with Fixed Hitch

Is it possible to stay away from a sliding 5th wheel hitch in a short bed 2021 F250 by using only a king pin extender on the trailer? thanks

If the trailer has a tapered nose designed for short bed truck clearance of if the trailer has a pivoting pin box like a Sidewinder you could install and use a fixed fifth wheel hitch for the OEM rail kit of your 2021 Ford F-250 like with the B and W Companion Slider # BWRVK3305.
Otherwise you'd want a slider version like # BWRVK3370 for turning clearance.
