Should Illumination Circuit of DUO Come On

SMI Stay in Play Duo When the motorhome brakes are applied should the vacuum pump and the red Stay in Play activation lights function as well as the towed vehicle brake lights?

When you apply the motorhome brakes the DUO part # SM99251 should be activating the towed vehicle brakes so the illumination light of the system should come on as well as the brake lights of the vehicle being towed.
