Roof Mounted Bike Carrying Option for 2021 Mini Cooper 3 Door Hardtop

Hello, We have a 2021 Mini Cooper 3 door Hardtop and we are looking to add a roof rack for carrying various bikes, some times road bikes, other times mountain bikes. We do not have any type of rails on the car. Suggestions?

For the 2021 Mini Cooper 3 door hardtop, SeaSucker has a roof rack application that would work great for carrying up to 3 bikes. You'll want to go with their Bomber Bike Rack, part # 298-BB3008. The unit uses a total of 8 vacuum cups to attach to the vehicle roof.

I'll admit, when we first started carrying SeaSucker products, I was pretty skeptical about using suction cups to attach an accessory to a vehicle. The vacuum cups are truly legit, with each have a pull rating of 210 lbs (it takes more than 210 lbs of force to pull the cup free of the vehicle) which is pretty impressive. The rack can handle 3 bikes weighing up to a combined 150 lbs.
