Best Way To Flat Toe Multiple Vehicles The Easiest

Question:

Hello folks, my wife and I are taking off in our new to us workhorse chaise RV. We would like to tow a vehicle. We have a 1992 Jeep XJ with a smitybilt xrc bumper. What may be needed to flat tow. It is a built 4x4 with manual transmission. We also have a 2011 ford fusion I4. Looking at maybe a tow dolly or flat 4. What options do I have and or any recommendations. Thank you in advance.

For the sake of simplicity, I would recommend getting the Roadmaster Tow Dolly # RM-2050-1. IT has a capacity of 4,250lbs and has electric disc brakes. You will need an electric brake controller like the Tekonsha Voyager Trailer Brake Controller # 39510 and a 7 pole for your Workhorse RV # PK11898. I do recommend making sure that your vehicles can be dollied. Check the owners manual or another source to confirm. The tow dolly will be less parts and you can tow multiple vehicles with it. So if all your vehicles can be towed, you can bring the jeep whenever you're going somewhere off-road and bring the Fusion whenever you'll be on more paved roads.
