7-Way, Trailer Hitch, and Brake Controller for 2019 Subaru Ascent
Question:
Hi, I want to purchase the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2 - 76253 for my 2019 Subaru Ascent. Could you recommend a 7 point wiring kit that works with he Draw-Tile? I like to have the 7 point socket attached to the Draw-Tile and hidden away along with the hitch when bumper/fascia is put back. Also, a recommendation for brake-controller would be appreciated too. Thanks so much! Best regards,

For your 2019 Subaru Ascent we have the 7-way kit part # 118290 which is a confirmed fit and installs with minimal wiring since it ties into factory wiring.
The Draw Tite hitch part # 76253 has a bracket to the left of the hitch opening that a 7-way can attach to. You can use a bracket like the # C67UR to attach to the 7-way of the # 118290.
Then for a brake controller the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty part # RED24FR would be a really great choice as it's mostly out of main view, is proportional, cost effective, and all you need to install it in your vehicle is the harness # RED69FR.
