Roof Rack and 2-Kayak Carrier that Fits 2016 Lincoln MKX with Flush Rails  

Question:

I have a 2016 Lincoln MKX with flush side rails. Will Thule or Yakima system cross bars tied to the side rails Work? Is the side rail structural sound enough to transport two kayaks? My concern is the upper wind force.

Yakima has really great roof rack options for your 2016 Lincoln MX with flush rails like the Yakima Jetstream rack part numbers # Y00425, # Y00145, and # Y89FR. This is a very strong and well designed rack that would work well to carry two kayaks and upper wind force would not be an issue at all.

Then for a kayak carrier that can carry your two kayaks that fits the rack as well the Thule Compass part # TH890000 would be a really great option.
