Recommended Trailer Hitch Cargo Carrier for 2012 Honda Odyssey

Question:

Do you have any business partners in the area towards Garland Texas Dallas Texas that can install this on a 2012 Honda Odyssey? Id love the one with the tilt. If I could get a locking mechanism on the cargo rack that would be cool the one for the trailer hitch. I wish I could figure out a good way to attach a Jack to it. I have a back injury and this is one reason it would be great for me because I can lock down hopefully a generator that weighs about a hundred pounds. Then add to that a small propane tank and maybe a weed eater for cleaning up a campsite.

The 24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs # C18151 is a great carrier for your desired use. The shank of the carrier is hollow so I recommend using the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches - 2-5/8" Span # 63232 which will lock it to your receiver but also hold it really tight so you will have almost no movement at the hitch receiver. You can use a cable lock like # e98891 to secure your cargo to the carrier and hitch through the chain loops.

If you already have the hitch receiver you would be good to go, but if you don't then I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e98862.
