Good Year Endurance ST235/85R16 Trailer Tire Recommendation

Question:

My Cardinal by Forest River Fifth wheel camper currently has Karrier Load Star tires with a load rating G. I wanted to replace them with something other than the China Bombs that seem to be easy to find. The Good Year Endurance seems to be about the only American made and a good trailer tire I can find in this size, however they are only a load range E. The load/inflation chart on Good Years web site shows inflating these tires to 110lbs for a max load limit of 4400lbs @ 87 mph. Would these tires be better than a Chinese counterpart with a higher load rating G? Ive heard good things about Sailun trailer tires. also Vitour Tires. Any thoghts?

The only trailer tire out there made in the USA is the Goodyear Endurance but they do not have options in your size.
You could take a look at the Taskmaster Provide part # TTWPRG235R16 in your size of ST235/85-16. When inflated to 110 psi these do have a 4,400 lb capacity like you said as well. Without knowing what the weight of your trailer is it's harder for me to state for sure whether that would enough weight capacity. But if you add up the 4,400 lb capacity of each tire and compare to the overall weight of your trailer you'd know if you'd have enough. Even though these tires are not made in the USA, they are made to USA Specifications and are a great tire.
