Does Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX Have Travel Limiter on Top and Bottom of Range

Question:

Is there a limiter on the retraction and extension of the jack? What happens if you extend it too far? What type of maintenance is required? I usually grease my manual jack once a year. Will my truck tailgate be able to open all the way down with this? It does with the manual jack and that helped a lot the last time I had a blowout on the highway. I was able to get my tools with ease instead of climbing into the bed.

Unlike some of the other powered a-frame jacks the Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX that you referenced does not come with a limiter at the top or bottom of its range. Greasing the inner jack leg once a year like you mentioned would be a great maintenance schedule for this jack although it doesn't have one specified. The height of this jack above the trailer frame it attaches to is 20-1/2 inches which you can compare that measurement to your tailgate area to determine if this would fit or not.
