Suspension Enhancement for 2020 Ram 3500 That Won't be Too Harsh

Question:

Hi I have a 2020 ram 3500 SRW and I tow a 15k loaded fifth wheel. Total payload on the truck is like 3500 which is under the 4K capacity. If I’m honest. It rides pretty horribly unloaded but loaded up it seems decent. I just towed 4000 miles with no real issues other than some squatting. To fix squat and keep my ride quality as good as possible should I be looking at the yellow sumo springs or these timbrens? Is there any chance that my heavy duty leaf suspension will get MORE cushy when towing? Seemed unlikely but thought I would ask.

For your 2020 Ram 3500 the suspension enhancement kit we offer that provides the best blend of support and ride quality is the SumoSprings # SSR-301-47-2. The Timbrens do a great job reducing sag but they have a reputation as being a bit harsh whereas the SumoSprings are known to be much softer. Now will your ride quality overall get smoother? Since the truck is a 3500 the answer is no, the 1 ton trucks are harsher since they are designed for towing that much weight and there isn't a way around that.
