Troubleshooting Curt Hitch Not Fitting 2019 GMC Canyon
Question:
This does not fit the 2019 GMC Canyon. The space between the upright brackets is 43 3/4”. The current hitch that came with the truck is 44 1/4. It does not fit . I followed all the proper instructions. It is just not wide enough

The Curt hitch part # C13176 was designed to fit your 2019 GMC Canyon but what most likely happened in your situation is that the hitch was bent in shipping. If you can bend the hitch back and you don't see any creasing or paint flaking you'd be totally fine.
