Bike Rack Best Suited for Carbon Frame Bikes

Will use mostly for mountain bikes, but occasionally for carbon road bikes at triathlons we go to. Will it work well for carbon road bikes or will it tear them up or not hold them tight?

I wouldn't recommend carrying carbon frame bikes on a bike rack that holds the bikes by the bike frame since this is a very delicate material. You'd be best served with a bike rack that attaches to the bikes with wheel mounts instead like the Kuat Transfer part # KU84FR.
