Will Tekonsha #9030 Voyager Brake Activator - Proportional work on a 2004 chevy Silverado? What modification if any should be made.

If you have the factory 7-way trailer connector at the rear of your Chevy then you will only need the Universal Brake Control Wiring Adapter 2003 - 06 Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, part # 3015-S, to hook up the Tekonsha Voyager Brake Activator. With this adapter you will splice the like colored wires together and then plug the connector in to the factory connector located under the dash, see picture on page linked below.
If you do not have the factory 7- way at the rear of your truck you will need the Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connectors for Ford, GM Trucks, part # 30955, along with the part mentioned above and this item will plug into the connector under the rear of your truck above the spare tire, see picture on product page.
Once you have made these connections your trailer brakes should be ready to be tested and set.
