The Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter part # 34278156 while powered on without a load present will draw 1.8 amps. The power save mode will reduce this to .1 amps. This is manually engaged on a switch in the front of the unit which will turn itself on and off looking for the load based on the pot position.
