Front Mounted Trailer Hitch Combatibility with 2017 Ford F-150 Gen 2 Raptor
Question:
Has anybody used this on a Gen 2 Raptor? I know I will have to either modify or lose the front skid plate. Looking to use an alum basket/rod rack for running the beach. Tks

The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # C31083 is a fit for the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor frame according to Curt. Because it mounts to the outside of the frame, the front skid plate can be kept but it will need to be trimmed if you choose to reinstall it. I've attached the installation details to assist with the mounting locations.
For the aluminum basket you referenced, I recommend the 49x22-1/2CurtCargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - 500 lbs # C18113. You can even lock this to the hitch using # e99047.
