My CO/Propane Detector Beeps Every Couple Hours In My 2019 Leisure Travel Motor Home

Question:

We have a 2019 LTV motorhome with Atwood 31011 co/propane detector installed When driving we hear a single chirp every few hours but all lights are green I understand this is directly wired to 12v system so no batteries to change Does this mean a malfunction?

On your 2019 LTV Motorhome, the Atwood 31011 (Discontinued) CO/Propane Detector beeping every couple hours while driving could be a couple different things. I would start with checking the battery to make sure it isn't getting too low. If it is low, fully charge it and see if the chirping stops. If your battery is fully charged and it is still chirping then the unit is malfunctioning and should be replaced. I recommend the RVSafe RV Carbon Monoxide and Propane Gas Detector - 12 Volt - White Item # RS34FR
