How To Connect Portable Fireplace/Grill To Port On Side of Trailer

I do have an option to use the portable fireplace with the trailer but to the surprise of most, you cannot use the quick connect fitting on the side of the trailer for most fireplaces or grills for that matter. The reason for this is because most of these grills and fireplaces are designed to be attached directly to the tank which is why they have a built-in regulator. The quick disconnect port on the side of the trailer is already regulated and you cannot use two regulators in-line. Therefore, you'll need to bypass the regulator at the front of the trailer where the tanks are with a tee fitting like the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting part # 103612-MBS. Once this is done, you can then get the parts needed to hookup to the fireplace/grill, the Adapter part # 204132-MBS and Hose part # 37207-30835.
