2010 Ram Truck Trailer Brake Controller Installation When There is No Plug Under Dash
Question:
i have a 2010 dodge ram that has the 7 pole and 4 pole connectors. However , the truck does not have an under dash plug for a brake control install. How would i go about wiring an aftermarket brake controller into this truck to be able to pull my camper ??

For your 2010 Ram, because there isn't a harness under the dash, you will need to hardwire it. You can use the Prodigy P2 # 90885 you asked from (or pretty much any brake controller of your choosing) and then you will add # 5506 to your current 7-way to give you the 12v power and brake controller functions. I've attached an article and some videos of the installation to help. This kit will install in the same way as the # ETBC7 but simply doesn't come with the adapter since you don't require it.
