Draw-Tite Hitch Ground Clearance on 2018 Subaru Forester
Question:
What is the height of the hitch from where it bolts to the body of the vehicle down to the hitch receiver? Im trying to estimate the amount of clearance once it is installed. Thanks.

The height of the Draw-Tite Hitch # 75876 from the bottom of the receiver to the top of the mounting brackets is 10-11/16 inches. I attached a picture I made below to illustrate where it is measured. Ground clearance can vary from car to car due to suspension wear and other factors, so I hope this measurement helps you find the exact clearance for your own specific vehicle.
Along with your hitch, you can pick up the Draw-Tite Hitch Silencer and cover # 63080 to eliminate rattle when in use and to cover your hitch from dust and grime when not in use. If you're always installing/uninstalling hitch accessories like bike racks or cargo carriers, I like to get the etrailer Hitch Pin Alignment Collar # e98942 so I don't have to kneel down and check if my hitch pin holes are aligned.
