Using Old Aeroblade Crossbars on New 2020 F350  

Question:

I recently upgraded from a 2012 F250 Crew Cab to a 2020 F350 Crew Cab. On the 2012 F250 I was using the 60” Thule Aeroblades with the 480R foot pack and the Kit 1508. Will these parts work on the new F350? If not, what parts would I need to shift the Aeroblades over to the 350? Appreciate any insight you have!

I'm glad you asked! To fit a new roof rack on your new F350, you would need a new fit kit for your old Aeroblade bars.

The parts you need are the Evo Clamp Feet # TH710501 and Fit Kit 5177 # TH145177. These look a bit different from your old roof rack system because Thule redesigned their bars to WingBlade Evo crossbars. You were using the Rapid Traverse feet, but the newer roof rack kits now use the Evo Clamps. The good news is, the clamps for the Evo crossbars may look and work differently, but they're still a fit for your Aeroblade bars! The Evo clamps are also an improvement since they're easier and quicker to install. I attached a video of the install of these exact clamps and fit kit on a Ford F-150.
