Correct TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs for a 2017 Ford F-350 Super Crew 6-3/4' Bed

Question:

I have a 2017 Ford F350 Super Crew Cab, 6-3/4 foot bed with the running boards that extend past the cab. I would like to know why Part #TLF2022 will not work with the extended running boards? It would appear that the tie down would extend between the running board and bed and not be an issue. Is it because the rear brace on the extended running board interferes with the tie down? Thank you.

The correct TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs for a 2017 Ford F-350 Super Crew 6-3/4' Bed is part # TLF3008 for the rear and part # TLF2022 for the front. For turnbuckles, I recommend the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles for Frame-Mounted Tie-Downs part # TLS9529-2-LK.

I spoke with TorkLift and they stated they only offer options for no running boards or cab length only. If you have wheel to wheel running boards they will need to be removed or replaced with cab length. The arms on the tie-down would interfere with the boards.
