The Karrier ST235/85R16 load range E tire, # AM10295, has a max load rating of 3,640 lbs at 95 psi and the Karrier ST235/85R16 load range F tire, # AM10501, has a max load rating of 3,960 lbs at 95 psi.

We also have the Karrier ST235/80R16 load range E tire, # AM10248, which has a max load rating of 3,500 lbs at 90 psi.

For your trailer with a max weight rating of somewhere above the 12,400 lb load you mentioned, you could use any of the tires mentioned above. With the load range E tires you would have a maximum capacity of 7,000 lbs or 7,280 lbs per axle and for the load range F tire the capacity is 7,920 lbs per axle.

The 235/85-16 tires are 31.75 inches tall and 9.26 inches wide, so you will need to take the size into account also. The 245/75-16 tire you mentioned should measure about 30.5 inches tall and 9.65 inches wide, so the 235/80-16 tire would be the closest option for you at 30.9 inches overall height and 9.4 inches wide.
