Expert Reply:
You will not need a heavy duty flasher to tow a trailer with your 2010 Lexus RX350 if you use the Tow Ready T-One Wiring Harness, # 118478. This wiring harness uses a powered converter box to power the trailer lights and to protect your vehicle tail light circuits shorts or mis-wire situations.
The converter box has a power wire that attaches directly to the positive post of the vehicles battery and only uses the signal from the vehicle tail lights to determine which circuits to activate. It does not use your tail light circuits to power the trailer lights.
